I went back to the CAD laser cutting and used this skill i learnt in SP4A to experiment cutting finer details onto lino. Deciding between the mass production of printing or the drawn landscapes became a cross roads for the context as well. Highlighting questions around what value am I placing upon these objects? Lino printing exaggerates the mass production in our society, whilst commenting on impact of consumption as most single used plastics like coffee lids can not be recycled with ann estimated two point five billion thrown away each year. On the other hand, the drawings elevate these throw away materials, encouraging value and keepsake of a single use plastic lid. I found the lino too repatitive and similar, loosing that sense of awe that is invoked viewing and experiencing mountains
